HUNI BEE THERAPY

IN AN APIMODULE at Platbos Forest

WHAT IS AN APIMODULE?

An Apimodule is a small wooden house that has wooden beds where you lie down and relax. Under these beds are active working bee colonies that are in contact with the surrounding areas - plants and flowers. The hives under the beds have channels with screens preventing contact with the hutís inhabitants. These channels bring the micro climate in the hives in contact with individuals, usually maximum of three, in the room. This micro climate is a form of Aromatherapy. You are breathing in these concentrated essential aromas of propolis, honey, beeswax, pollen, flower nectar and royal jelly.

HEALTH BENEFITS of using the APIMODULE:

The Apimodule can be thought of as a huge inhaler where you breathe in the sterile disinfected air of the hive. This therapy is good for strengthening your immune system, improves blood circulation and helps to normalize the metabolism, is effective in the treatment of cardio vascular diseases and broncho-pulmonary diseases (bronchitis and asthma).
To achieve a good sustainable healing effect you should have 10 to 15 sessions of 1,5 hours each.

WHAT TO WEAR:

* Comfortable clothing

* Shoes should be removed before entering the Apimodule

* Warm bed socks will be provided

While spending time in the relaxing atmosphere of the Apimodule, you can also book a HOT OIL AND HONEY MASSAGE.

Using hot oil during massage is an excellent way to promote relaxation and soothe muscle fatigue.

The exceptional healing and preventive effect of honey massage has been known from antiquity. The first to use honey to rub into the skin were Tibetan healers.
